SYNOPSIS
Set in a culturally diverse city, "Love Affairs in Rio" reveals the beauty, moods and violence that exist in Rio de Janeiro. Its contrast shapes this romantic journey in a funny, poignant and sometimes dramatic fashion. Outgoing, attractve and a magnet to complicates relatioships, Amanda encounters a German backpack tourist, an esoteric freak, a friendly italian guitarrist, a Buddhist novice and a depressed Chilean artist, among other crazy adventures. Every unsuccessful affair slides open the curtains of her wild and turbulent relationship with her neighbor Diego. Amanda is devoted to the pursuit of her own identity in a genuine psycological and spiritual approach, causing her to encounter ideology conflicts that reflect in a battle between love and sex.
